Remains of Two More Hamas Hostages Identified

The Israeli army announced that the remains of two hostages recovered from Gaza have been identified as Tamir Adar and Arieh Zalmanovitz.

Tamir Adar, a 38-year-old warrant officer, was killed when Hamas launched an unprecedented attack on southern Israel on October 7, 2023.

Arieh Zalmanovitz, 85 years old at the time of his death, was a farmer and one of the founders of Kibbutz Nir Oz. He appeared in a video released by Hamas in 2023, stating that he had suffered a heart attack. His death was confirmed by Kibbutz Nir Oz in December 2023.
