Trump Sends 'USS Gerald R. Ford' Aircraft Carrier to the Middle East

The US has ordered the 'USS Gerald R. Ford' aircraft carrier, the world's largest, to sail to the Middle East. This move comes as President Donald Trump considers a potential military intervention in Iran.

The 'USS Gerald R. Ford' will bring two aircraft carriers and warships to the region, increasing pressure on Iran to reach an agreement on its nuclear program. Two weeks ago, the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln and three destroyers also arrived in the area.

Trump had stated that he was considering sending a second aircraft carrier strike group to the Middle East. In October, the USS Ford was sent from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean for the operation to arrest Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro.

Trump warned Iran that if they fail to reach an agreement, the result would be 'very traumatic'.
