Hamas Releases New Video of Hostage Evyatar David: 'Netanyahu Has Abandoned Us'

Hamas has released a new video featuring hostage Evyatar David, the second such video in two days. In the video, David claims that the Israeli government has abandoned him.

According to the hostage, 'Netanyahu has abandoned us, and everything they taught us in Israel is a lie.' He also states, 'I am digging my grave with my hands because my body weakens every day and I may be buried here, in the tunnel.'

In the first video, David expressed hope for release through a prisoner exchange but claimed that the Israeli government is letting the captives starve.

A spokesperson for the Al-Qassam Brigades stated, 'They eat what we eat. They drink what we drink.' Both videos emphasize that 'Time is running out' and that only a ceasefire agreement in Gaza will lead to the release of the hostages.
