Hezbollah Accuses Lebanon of 'Handing Over' Country to Israel

Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem has accused the Lebanese government of 'handing over' the country to Israel by promoting the disarmament of the movement. He also warned Lebanese authorities of a potential outbreak of civil war.
Speaking after a meeting with an Iranian official, Qassem said the Lebanese government is carrying out the American-Israeli order to end the resistance, even if it causes civil war and internal conflicts. He added that the resistance will not surrender its weapons as long as the Israeli attack and occupation continue.
Qassem argued that the government's mission is to ensure stability and rebuild Lebanon, not to hand the country over to a voracious Israeli or a greedy American tyrant.
