Houthis Launch Ballistic Missile Towards Israel

Houthi rebels in Yemen have confirmed launching a ballistic missile towards Israel.

In Israel, warning sirens were activated in several areas following the missile launch from Yemen. The military indicated that the missile was likely successfully intercepted.

In a statement, the Houthi military spokesperson mentioned the "launch of a ballistic missile against a sensitive target of the Israeli enemy in Beersheba." He also stated that the action was "in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and in response to the Zionist enemy's crimes against civilians in Gaza."

The Houthi spokesperson confirmed that attacks against Israel will continue "until the attack against Gaza ends and the siege of the enclave is lifted."
