Yemen: Sanaa Power Plant Hit by Explosions

A power generation unit south of Sanaa, Yemen, was hit by an "attack," disabling some generators, according to Houthi-affiliated Al Masirah TV. Responsibility for the attack has not been clarified.
Crews are working to extinguish a fire caused by the incident. Residents reported hearing at least two explosions in Sanaa.
Israel has bombed targets in Yemen, responding to attacks by the Houthis, who state they are targeting Israel in support of Palestinians in Gaza.
The US and Britain have also conducted attacks against the Houthis. In May, the US announced an agreement with the Houthis to cease bombings in exchange for ending attacks on ships. However, the Houthis insist the agreement does not prohibit them from targeting Israel.
