California Boat Capsizing: At Least 4 Dead

At least four people have died after a boat, allegedly carrying undocumented migrants, capsized off the coast of California. The U.S. Coast Guard announced the incident on Saturday.

Four survivors were taken to the hospital, while one suspect was arrested and is being questioned. Many of the survivors stated they were Mexican, while the nationality of others remains unclear.

Robert Tucker, head of the Coast Guard in San Diego, emphasized the dangers faced by foreigners attempting to enter the U.S. by sea in dangerous vessels.

Thousands of undocumented migrants attempt to reach the U.S. through Mexico, seeking a better life, while many lose their lives in the effort.
