A U.S. House of Representatives committee has subpoenaed U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi regarding the handling of the Epstein files.

The House Oversight Committee voted Wednesday to subpoena Pam Bondi. She will be asked to answer questions regarding the handling of files related to the investigation into human trafficking against Jeffrey Epstein.

The Department of Justice released millions of pages, photos, and videos from the Epstein case files but was criticized for protecting powerful figures and revealing the names of victims. Democrats allege that documents concerning Donald Trump were not released.

Five Republican lawmakers joined Democrats in supporting the subpoena of Pam Bondi. The motion was made by Republican Representative Nancy Mace.

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton and his wife, Hillary Clinton, recently met with committee lawmakers regarding the former president's connections to Epstein.
