Charlie Kirk Murder: Suspect Announced in Messages He Would 'Eliminate' Him

Tyler Robinson, the alleged murderer of Charlie Kirk, reportedly foreshadowed his act in messages, according to FBI Director Kash Patel. Robinson, 22, was arrested in connection with the murder at Utah Valley University.
According to Patel, Robinson wrote that he had the opportunity to 'eliminate' Charlie Kirk and would take it. His family reportedly stated that he had distanced himself from the Republican political ideology.
After the murder, Robinson allegedly joked with acquaintances on the Discord platform about his resemblance to the perpetrator, according to Utah Governor Spencer Cox. A user shared photos from surveillance cameras and asked Robinson 'where you at?' with a skull emoji. Robinson replied that his 'look-alike' was trying to get him into trouble.
Authorities took nearly two days to locate and arrest the suspect.
