Explosion in Manhattan: Black Smoke Covers New York City

A powerful explosion occurred in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, causing disruption and scenes of panic. A thick cloud of smoke covered the area, and more than 100 firefighters and first responders are at the scene.
The explosion was reported around 10:00 AM local time, near 305 East 95th Street, close to Central Park. Videos on social media show smoke spreading over Manhattan.
The New York City Fire Department (FDNY) has classified the operation as a '3rd-degree fire'. The cause of the explosion is under investigation.
