Gunman Kills Police Officer in Atlanta, Found Dead

A gunman killed a police officer near the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta, USA. The perpetrator was found dead at the scene.

The attack occurred near the CDC complex and a pharmacy. The suspect was found dead on the second floor of a pharmacy, having succumbed to gunshot wounds.

The perpetrator, whose identity has not been released, believed his illness was caused by the coronavirus vaccine. The slain officer was David Rose, 33 years old.

Ninety-two children from a daycare center were safely evacuated.
