Lion Attacks 4-Year-Old Boy in Washington National Park

A 4-year-old child was injured on Sunday after being attacked by a lion in Olympic National Park in Washington state.
The incident occurred near the Victoria Overlook area while the child was walking with their family. The lion attacked and bit the child, prompting an immediate response from rescue services.
The child was urgently transported by helicopter to a Seattle hospital. Their condition has not yet been officially released.
Park rangers located and neutralized the lion, which was wearing a tracking collar. Trails in the area have been temporarily closed.
The incident is under investigation by authorities.
