FBI Searches Home of John Bolton, Former Trump Advisor

The FBI is conducting a search at the Maryland home of John Bolton, former advisor to Donald Trump. The search began at 7:00 AM local time, under the orders of Kash Patel, director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
John Bolton served as the US Ambassador to the United Nations and as National Security Advisor to the White House during Donald Trump's first term. He has since become a strong critic of Trump.
Trump had accused Bolton of revealing "sensitive information" and removed his Secret Service protection. Bolton had claimed he was the target of an assassination plot by Iran.
Shortly before the raid, Bolton commented on X regarding Russia-Ukraine negotiations.
