Florida: Truck Causes Deadly Accident – Three Fatalities

A tragic traffic accident occurred in Florida when a truck driver caused a collision resulting in the death of three people.

According to the New York Post, the driver, named Harjinder Singh, made an illegal U-turn on the Florida Turnpike, causing a passing minivan to crash into him at high speed. Two of the minivan's passengers died instantly, while the driver succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. The victims were a 37-year-old from Pompano Beach, a 30-year-old from Florida City, and a 54-year-old from Miami.

The truck's dashcam recorded the moment of the collision. Singh was arrested and faces charges of negligent manslaughter. It was also discovered that Singh had illegally entered the U.S. in 2018.

Dave Kerner, head of the Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, stated that Singh will be held accountable for his actions.
