US Senator Calls for Investigation into Epstein-Black Collaboration

US Senator Ron Wyden has formally requested an investigation into the collaboration between Jeffrey Epstein and billionaire Leon Black. The request focuses on potential tax irregularities.
In a letter to the IRS on July 31, Wyden accused the agency of failing to audit significant transactions involving Epstein, alleging he was used to help Black avoid paying billions in taxes. He requested more information by September 1.
A representative for Black responded that a previous investigation had shown that Black was not involved in illegal activities and that payments to Epstein were for legitimate tax and estate planning services.
Leon Black, a well-known art collector, has been the subject of previous investigations regarding his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
