Ghislaine Maxwell, the imprisoned associate of Jeffrey Epstein, is reportedly seeking immunity and advance knowledge of questions in order to testify before Congress. Her lawyer, David Oscar Markus, stated in a letter to Representative James Comer that Maxwell would be willing to cooperate if offered immunity from new prosecutions.

Additionally, Maxwell wishes to postpone her deposition until the Supreme Court rules on her appeal against her conviction for sex trafficking. She would also be willing to testify openly if she receives a pardon from the president.

The U.S. Department of Justice has already questioned Maxwell regarding the Epstein case, but stated that the review of the files yielded no evidence that would lead to new charges against third parties. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blance personally questioned her for two days.
