USA: 61-Year-Old Dies in MRI Machine – Wearing 9 kg Chain

A 61-year-old man died in a medical center in Long Island, USA, after being pulled into an MRI machine. The man was wearing a heavy metal chain.
The incident occurred when the man entered the imaging room at Nassau Open MRI clinic. He was wearing a 9 kg metal chain, which he used for training. The MRI machine was activated, and the strong magnetic force violently pulled him into the machine.
His wife, Adrienne Jones-McAllister, stated that she called her husband, Keith, to help her get up. "I saw the machine grab him and pull him in," she said. "He waved goodbye and then died."
The 61-year-old suffered a series of heart attacks and was pronounced dead a few hours later.
MRI machines use strong magnetic fields to produce detailed images. Patients usually remove metal objects before the examination.
