USA: 1,364 Flights Canceled Due to Severe Weather

In the United States, 1,364 flights have been canceled and 4,267 delayed due to severe weather conditions. Heavy snowfalls are expected in the New York area and the Rocky Mountains, while an "atmospheric river" is expected to hit California.
Airports in New York and Chicago were most affected. Up to 20 centimeters of snow are expected in New York and New Jersey. Mayor Eric Adams urged residents to limit travel and use public transportation.
