US: Man Confesses to Killing Parents in TV Interview

A 53-year-old man was arrested in the US after confessing in a television interview to killing his parents and burying them in the yard of their home in Albany. Lawrence Kraus confessed to WRGB host Greg Floyd that he strangled his parents, Franz and Theresa Kraus.

Police located the bodies at the location indicated by Kraus. This followed a complaint to the Social Security Administration regarding the welfare of the elderly parents, who were allegedly receiving benefits while missing.

Kraus, who was facing investigation for financial crimes, pleaded not guilty in court to charges of homicide and concealment of bodies.
