USA: Protests After Death of 37-Year-Old by Federal Agents' Gunfire

In the United States, protests and reactions have erupted following the fatal shooting of 37-year-old Alex Preti by Immigration Service agents.

U.S. President Donald Trump accused the governor and mayor of Minneapolis of inciting insurrection, while the two officials demanded the withdrawal of federal agents. Minnesota Governor Tim Walz requested that the investigation be assigned to local authorities.

The Department of Homeland Security claims that Preti had a semi-automatic pistol and resisted. The victim's parents denounced "disgusting lies" from the government, claiming that video shows their son was not holding a weapon.
