USA: Large Protests Against Trump's Authoritarian Power

Large protests are taking place across the USA, from New York to San Francisco, under the slogan "No Kings," denouncing the authoritarian exercise of power by Donald Trump.

In the Forest Hills area of New York, thousands gathered chanting slogans against Trump. More than 2,700 gatherings are planned in cities and towns, even near Trump's residence in Mar-a-Lago.

Members of the Republican Party denounce the mobilizations as "hatred against America." Chuck Schumer, Kamala Harris, and Robert De Niro have called on Americans to protest.

The first day of mobilizations, organized by the No Kings organization, had gathered millions of protesters.
