California: Car Hits Pedestrians Outside Store – Four Injured

An alert was issued in California when a vehicle struck pedestrians at the entrance of a grocery store, injuring four people, including children.

The perpetrator was a 49-year-old man, as stated by the Police in a statement. Police stated that they believe the man deliberately hit the pedestrians, who are not in danger, and crashed into the store entrance.

39-year-old Scotty Mathewson said he was shopping with his wife when he heard the collision and panicked screams. While his wife was calling the police, Mathewson helped with others to make sure no one was trapped under the rubble or the truck.

At the time of the incident, a baseball team of boys was raising money at a table in front of the store.
