White House Denounces Leaks Regarding Strikes on Iran's Nuclear Facilities

US President Donald Trump's Middle East envoy, Steve Witkoff, has labeled as "traitors" the sources who leaked classified information about the strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities. Donald Trump himself has dismissed the reports as "fake news."
In a post on Truth Social, Trump accused CNNi and the New York Times of attempting to "downplay one of the most successful military operations in history," claiming that Iran's nuclear facilities have been "completely destroyed."
Steve Witkoff, in an interview with Fox News, described the leak of classified information as "treason" and called for an investigation into the incident and for those responsible to be held accountable.
CNNi, citing sources familiar with a highly classified assessment by the Pentagon's intelligence agency, DIA, reported that the US bombings had only "delayed" Iran's nuclear energy program for "a few months," six "at most."
