Bill and Hillary Clinton to Testify Before Congress on Epstein Case

Bill and Hillary Clinton will testify separately in late February before a U.S. Congressional committee investigating the Epstein case. The committee had threatened the former presidential couple with criminal prosecution if they did not comply.
Hillary Clinton will testify on February 26, and Bill Clinton on February 27. The committee seeks to investigate Bill Clinton's relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, convicted of sexual exploitation, and to learn what Hillary Clinton knew about these ties.
Republican head of the committee, James Comer, stated that "no one is above the law." The Clintons initially refused to testify but changed their stance before a House vote on potential contempt charges.
The depositions will be videotaped and transcribed. Comer stated he "looks forward" to asking questions regarding the crimes of Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
The Clintons claim "purely political motives" on the part of the Republicans. Bill Clinton's representative, Angel Ureña, stated that the former president and former Secretary of State will be present and "look forward to setting a (legal) precedent."
Bill Clinton had traveled on Jeffrey Epstein's private plane and stated in 2019 that he had not spoken to him for over ten years.
