New York: 40-year-old fatally stabbed his 34-year-old husband

In New York, a 40-year-old, Donald Zieben Hood, was arrested for the death of his 34-year-old husband, Jacob Zieben Hood, who was found dead in their apartment in Harlem. According to the case file, Jacob had called his father shortly before his death, stating that "my husband is coming for me."

The 34-year-old's body was found in the apartment's bathroom. The medical examiner determined that he had head injuries and multiple stab wounds to the leg, one of which had struck an artery, causing uncontrollable bleeding.

Although the couple presented an image of a happy marriage on social media, a history of domestic violence was revealed. Police had recorded nine reports of such incidents since 2022. Donald had been arrested in the past for assaulting Jacob, and restraining orders had been issued.

Donald claimed that they had a fight with knives, fell asleep, and woke up to find Jacob dead. The case is being treated as a homicide.
