New York: Football Player Rescues Driver from Burning Car

A 20-year-old football player, Larry Pickett Jr., rescued a driver from a burning car in New York. The incident occurred on Route 9W in Fort Montgomery.

According to the New York Post, the car crashed into a utility pole early Sunday morning (August 31), causing a fire. Larry Pickett Jr., a player for the Army Black Knights, immediately rushed to the scene and pulled the driver out of the car just before it was completely engulfed in flames.

His father, Larry Pickett Sr., posted a video of the rescue on Facebook, expressing his gratitude for his son's heroic act.
