«No Kings»: Protests in the USA against Trump over authoritarianism

Thousands of protesters gathered in major US cities, from New York to San Francisco, on October 18, chanting «No Kings», denouncing Donald Trump for authoritarian exercise of power.

More than 2,700 rallies took place in cities and towns, even near Trump's residence in Mar-a-Lago. Protesters chanted slogans such as «we love our country, we don't tolerate Trump».

Republican Party officials described the mobilizations as «hatred of America». The first day of mobilizations, organized by the «No Kings» organization, had gathered millions of protesters in June.
