The poll showed that only 40% of Americans approve of his performance, compared to 42% in a previous poll. The disapproval rate has risen to 57%.

Trump had promised to address inflation, but Americans give him low marks for managing the cost of living. The inflation rate has risen since he took office.

Additionally, the poll indicated that many Americans are not particularly concerned about the government shutdown.

Approximately 73% of respondents support renewing subsidies for health insurance.
