Donald Trump to Host Kennedy Center Honors – Honorees Announced

Donald Trump, as head of the Kennedy Center, has announced the honorees for this year's Kennedy Center Honors. The list includes George Strait, Sylvester Stallone, Gloria Gaynor, the band Kiss, and Michael Crawford.

Trump stated that he will host the awards ceremony and renovate the Kennedy Center's infrastructure to make it a central element of the US's 250th-anniversary celebrations. He has already made changes, such as replacing the board members and changing the exterior lighting to red, white, and blue.

The Kennedy Center Honors have been recognizing artists for their overall contribution to arts and culture since 1978. This year's event will be held in Washington.
