Father Jumps From Disney Cruise Ship to Save Daughter

A dramatic incident occurred off the coast of Florida when a father jumped from a Disney cruise ship to save his daughter who had fallen into the sea. The incident happened last Sunday when the daughter fell from the fourth deck of the ship.

According to eyewitnesses, the girl fell into the water while posing for a photo near the railing. Her father immediately jumped into the sea to save her. The two remained in the water for about ten minutes until they were rescued by a lifeboat.

The Disney Dream cruise ship, with a capacity of 4,000 passengers, was returning to Fort Lauderdale, Florida from a four-day cruise to the Bahamas. Disney Cruise Line confirmed the incident and praised the crew's prompt response.

Although incidents of passengers falling from cruise ships are rare, the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) reports that rescues do not always have a happy ending.
