Five Injured in Shooting at Military Base in Georgia, USA

Five people were injured in a shooting incident at a military base in Fort Stewart, Georgia, USA, on Wednesday.

According to the Fort Stewart administration, five soldiers were shot and taken to a military hospital for medical care.

The alleged perpetrator of the attack has been arrested, according to the announcement, and there is no longer a threat.

White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said President Donald Trump was informed of the incident.

The Fort Stewart military base is located approximately 64 kilometers southwest of the city of Savannah in Georgia.
