US Woman Discovers 13 Half-Siblings Through DNA Test

A woman in the US accidentally discovered she has 13 half-siblings after taking a DNA test for health reasons.

Growing up, the woman always felt different due to her appearance and health issues. She decided to take the DNA test to find answers regarding the Marfan syndrome she was diagnosed with.

The test results revealed the existence of seven half-siblings. Further investigation revealed that the doctor, Charles H. Pitt, whom her parents had consulted for infertility, was using his own sperm instead of an anonymous donor, as he claimed.

The woman now knows she has 13 half-siblings and is trying to process this revelation while sharing her story.

It is noted that this practice is considered a crime in only 14 states in the US.
