Renee Good's Wife: 'We Had Whistles, They Had Guns'

The wife of Renee Good, who was killed by Immigration police in Minneapolis on January 7, has spoken about the tragic event. Renee Good, 37, was a poet and mother of three.
In a statement, Becca Good described her wife as a person 'made of sunshine.' Becca Good noted that Renee was a Christian and believed that all religions teach the same basic truth: to love and care for one another.
Renee Good was killed when Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers surrounded her vehicle while she and her wife stopped to support their neighbors during an ICE operation in South Minneapolis. 'We had whistles. They had guns,' wrote Becca Good.
