Texas: Shocking Photo of 7-Year-Old Before Murder

34-year-old Tanner Horner has pleaded guilty to the abduction and murder of 7-year-old Athena Strand in Texas. A photo taken shortly after the abduction shows the little girl surprised in the perpetrator's truck.

Horner, a FedEx employee, had gone to the family's home to deliver a gift. He initially claimed he accidentally hit the child with the truck and then strangled her. However, the photo appears to contradict this claim.

Horner pleaded guilty to capital murder and abduction. The trial continues for sentencing, with possible outcomes being the death penalty or life imprisonment. The prosecutor warned of video from the moment of the murder.

Athena's mother, Maitlyn Gandy, supports the death penalty. Her father, Jacob Strand, has filed a lawsuit against FedEx for inadequate vetting of Horner's history.
