Donald Trump referred to attempts against him in a speech following the death of the 21-year-old intruder at Mar-a-Lago.

"I have many people targeting me, don't I?" Donald Trump said, referring to the incident with the intruder at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida.

At the Angel Families event, Trump spoke about the assassination attempts against him, a few days after the fatal shooting of a gunman who breached the perimeter of his residence.

Referring to the attacks he has received, he stated: "I don't know how much longer I'll be here."

Trump compared himself to Presidents John F. Kennedy and Abraham Lincoln.

In July 2024, Thomas Matthew Crooks opened fire at a campaign rally, slightly injuring Trump. In September, Ryan Wesley Routh aimed a gun at Trump's golf club. He was sentenced to life in prison.
