George Clooney: 'Harris's US Election Candidacy Was a Mistake'

George Clooney has stated that he believes it was a mistake to replace Joe Biden with Kamala Harris in the 2024 US presidential election.

In an interview on CBS's Sunday Morning, the actor and activist, a supporter of the Democrats, said he would rewrite the opinion piece he published in the New York Times, calling on the Democratic Party to seek a new candidate.

He expressed his dissatisfaction that no new internal party elections were held and that Kamala Harris was nominated through a virtual vote.
