Washington Post: Trump Plans Strike Force for 'Internal Unrest'

According to a report in the Washington Post, Trump is considering creating a 'Rapid Reaction Force for Internal Unrest'. The team would consist of hundreds of National Guard soldiers and would be rapidly deployed to US cities facing protests or riots, according to internal Pentagon documents.
Yesterday, Trump announced that he had ordered the federal takeover of the Washington police department and the deployment of 800 armed members of the National Guard with arrest powers to combat crime.
Over the weekend, he had already sent reinforcements of federal forces and called for teenagers as young as 14 to be tried as adults, portraying the American capital as a city plagued by violent youth gangs.
