Matthew Perry Case: 'Ketamine Queen' to Plead Guilty

A new development in the Matthew Perry death case: Jasveen Sangha, known as the 'Ketamine Queen,' is expected to plead guilty to trafficking ketamine, the substance that led to the actor's death.

The U.S. Department of Justice announced that Sangha has agreed to plead guilty to five federal charges. She was originally one of five defendants in the case.

Dr. Salvador Plasencia, also a defendant, has already pleaded guilty to illegal distribution of ketamine. Sangha faces penalties for nine charges, but with her plea, prosecutors are expected to drop some.

According to the charges, Sangha supplied Perry with lethal amounts of ketamine through his personal assistant. She is the fifth person to admit involvement in the case.
