Universal Life supports reforestation in Cyprus

Universal Life, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility strategy and in collaboration with the Cyprus Philodassikos Association, is participating in the "Forest Department Action Implementation Framework" for the reforestation of Cyprus.
The program, part of the European Green Deal, aims to plant three billion trees by 2030 to enhance biodiversity and address climate change. Universal Life will provide annual financial support for reforestation actions.
With each new life insurance policy, Universal Life will donate €1 to the program, supporting the regeneration of Cyprus' natural wealth. In the first year, it is expected to support the planting and care of 100 trees, with tree planting scheduled for November – February 2025, in which the company's staff will also participate.
The General Manager of Administration of Universal Life, Mr. Kypros Moiranthis, stated that the company invests in initiatives that protect the environment, confirming its commitment to a more sustainable world.
The Cyprus Philodassikos Association thanked Universal Life for its sponsorship, which will allow the planting of 100 trees in an area that was previously a landfill, turning it into an ornament for the area.
