DIKO: Focusing on Nicosia's electoral strength

There seems to be optimism within DIKO that Nicosia can serve as an electoral base for the party. This optimism reportedly stems from the assessment that Nicosia is the district where DIKO gathers the largest number of votes.

Specifically, in the 2021 elections, DIKO received 13,448 votes in the Nicosia district. However, in percentage terms, the party's greatest electoral influence is in Paphos, where it received 18.47% of the votes in the last parliamentary elections, taking second place.

Nevertheless, due to its size, Nicosia carries greater weight in DIKO's overall electoral result.
