Tax Transformation: Effective from January 1, 2026

The tax transformation in Cyprus will take effect on January 1, 2026, according to a statement by the President of the Republic during a meeting at the Presidential Palace.

The President emphasized that this was the final meeting on the matter and that all outstanding issues must be resolved immediately. He also requested an update on the preparation of the bills.

According to the President, there will be a final briefing of the parties by the Minister of Finance before the matter is forwarded to Parliament.

The President was adamant that there would be no deviation from the set start date.
