Christodoulides-Stewart Meeting Ahead of Cyprus Multilateral Conference

During his meeting with the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Colin Stewart, the President of the Republic stressed the importance of achieving progress on the six points agreed upon in Geneva in March.
The meeting took place at the Presidential Palace, prior to Mr. Stewart's trip to New York to brief the Security Council on reports regarding good services and the peacekeeping force in Cyprus, according to Government Spokesman Konstantinos Letymbiotis.
President Christodoulides and Colin Stewart exchanged views ahead of the multilateral conference on the Cyprus issue, expected within July.
Furthermore, Colin Stewart briefed the President of the Republic on his meeting with the European Union's Special Envoy for Cyprus, Johannes Hahn.
