Morphou Festival Returns on June 28, 2025

The Morphou Festival will take place on June 28, 2025, at the new Agios Dometios Amphitheater, in the Municipality of Nicosia. This festival, which was very popular until 1974, has been revived in recent years, attracting over 2000 people.

The events begin at 17:00 with games for children, activities for adults, demonstrations by dance schools, food, and drinks in the surrounding area of the Amphitheater.

At 21:00, a concert will follow with Giota Negka, Paris Paraschos, and Lefteris Pitsillidis, accompanied by the ORFEAS Music Ensemble of the "Panikos Hatzihambis" Foundation.

Admission to the event and the concert is free.

The aim of the Municipality of Morphou, the organizer of the event, is to preserve the memory of occupied Morphou and pass on the tradition to the new generations. The company CreatEvents contributes to the realization of the festival. The Gold Sponsor is OPAP Cyprus, while the communication sponsor is City Free Press.

The Concert Sponsor is the "Panikos Hatzihambis" Foundation, and the Festival sponsors are Koupparis Bottling (Kaliana Water) and Koupparis Signs Company. Supporters are Jumbo Snacks, Hellenic Bank, CYTA, Stone Art Design, and Elektra PAPETTAS.
