Philippidis: 'I had consensual sexual contact'

The trial of Petros Philippidis, who is accused of two attempted rapes, continued at the Mixed Jury Court of Appeal of Athens.
The defendant, referring to the second accuser, claimed that they had consensual sexual contact. He stated: 'The way we approached each other was flirting... The accuser put her hand on my thigh and I immediately changed course for Palaio Psychiko. The accuser engaged in fellatio.'
Earlier, Petros Philippidis reiterated that he is not a rapist. 'I am not a rapist, I am not an abuser, I am not a criminal,' he said.
During the proceedings, there were tensions as Petros Philippidis refused to answer questions from the lawyers of the accusers, stating: 'I do not accept questions from my abusers'.
