Paphos: 52-Year-Old Arrested for Misappropriation of Funds

Paphos Police have arrested a 52-year-old foreign national following a complaint by a 29-year-old compatriot regarding the misappropriation of funds.

According to the complaint, the 29-year-old had been giving money to the 52-year-old for safekeeping for several years, with the amount reaching approximately 7,000 euros. However, when the 29-year-old recently requested the money back, the 52-year-old claimed that the amount given to him for safekeeping was only 2,000 euros.

The complainant alleges that no amount of money has been returned to him yet.

Police arrested the 52-year-old and investigations into the case are ongoing.
