Rhodes: Tourist Reports Sexual Harassment at Spa

A 37-year-old tourist from the United Kingdom has reported an incident of sexual harassment at a massage facility in Rhodes.

According to the complaint filed by the woman at the Ialysos Police Department on Sunday, June 22, 2025, the incident occurred on June 19 at 4:00 PM at a hotel in the Kremasti area, where she was staying.

The tourist claims that during a massage session, a spa employee repeatedly touched her in a sensitive area with her fingernail, approximately six times, without any necessity.

The woman stated that she felt uncomfortable and offended by the behavior, which she considered inappropriate and invasive, characterizing the act as an insult to her sexual dignity.

The police authorities in Ialysos have launched a preliminary investigation to investigate the complaint.
