Minister of Education: Priority is quality education for all children

The Minister of Education, Sports and Youth, Athena Michaelidou, stated that the ultimate goal is to ensure the quality of education provided and to create a modern, democratic and human-centered school for all children.

In her address at the music and dance event "Summer for All" at the Lefkara Multipurpose Center, the Minister expressed her emotion that the event was dedicated to her, emphasizing her belief in the equal care of all children.

Mrs. Michaelidou referred to the extension of the summer school institution to all special schools, with an extension of the duration and operating hours, aiming at the creative engagement and psycho-emotional support of children.

In addition, she assured that the Ministry of Education will continue to support organized parents and stakeholders, implementing policies that will promote the progress of children and ensure the right of teachers and children to functional and suitable learning spaces.

The Minister emphasized the importance of collective effort to give all children what they deserve.
