Anorthosis: One step away from lifting the embargo

Anorthosis proceeded to pay off the amount owed to Arboleda on Friday, with the Colombian confirming the payment on Sunday. The administration faced difficulties in communicating with some players, especially with Arboleda, whom they had to locate after two days and many attempts.

Anorthosis also settled the case of Evagoras Charalambous. In total, the team settled 10 cases that had reached FIFA within a month.

Confirmation is awaited from FIFA for the lifting of the embargo, so that the team can proceed with the registration of new players. The Anorthosis administration hopes to receive the update from the World Federation soon.
