Garry Rodrigues close to Apollon, El Arabi reunion as rivals

Garry Rodrigues is expected to arrive in Cyprus to finalize his transfer to Apollon Limassol, according to PROTATHLIMA. The 34-year-old Cape Verde international is set to bolster the team's attacking options.

Rodrigues has won four titles in his career, including a Greek championship with Olympiacos in the 2021/22 season. At Olympiacos, he was a teammate of El Arabi, with whom he played in 35 matches.

During the championship-winning season, Rodrigues made 24 appearances, scoring five goals and providing four assists. His relationship with El Arabi is special, and they will now be opponents in the Cypriot league.

Garry Rodrigues is considered a fast and dynamic player, capable in one-on-one situations, with experience from his time at PAOK.
