During the Extraordinary General Assembly, Mr. Loizidis emphasized the importance of collectivity and transparency, stating that a new era is beginning for Cypriot football.
Loizidis characterized the current situation as "a new beginning" and set as a goal the change of the image of the Federation and the building of trust with the clubs and society. Priorities include transparency, institutional modernization and strengthening collective functioning.
The action plan includes two main axes: the institutional and operational modernization of the Federation and the improvement of the image and building trust with society and institutions.
The first axis includes the recruitment of a CEO, the redistribution of responsibilities, the activation of committees, the redesign of the strategy for the National Teams, the strengthening of the Cypriot footballer, the dialogue with the clubs, the reform of the arbitration and the modernization of the CFA statute with a limit of two terms for the President.
The second axis includes the redesign of the Press Office, strategic partnerships, actions to prevent violence and the promotion of football as a pillar of social cohesion.
